Send Flowers to Bodø, Norway

Bodø is the largest town in Nordland county, just north of the Arctic Circle, and the main gateway to the Lofoten islands by ferry and air. It is known for the Saltstraumen tidal current nearby and a midnight sun in June. Bodø families often have members abroad, and flowers are sent here for birthdays, new babies at the Nordland Hospital, anniversaries and condolences.

Norwegian Mother's Day falls on the second Sunday of February, so florists stock plenty of tulips and other colourful stems. Confirmations in spring and the 17 May celebrations are other moments when a bouquet from abroad is appreciated. For a funeral, a wreath or simple bouquet is normally delivered to the church before the service.

Place your order before midnight Norwegian time and it will arrive the following day. The florist needs the recipient's mobile number to call ahead and arranges a new time if nobody is home. Roses, lilies, mixed bouquets and plants are usually available in Bodø. If a flower is not stocked, the florist proposes a closely equivalent arrangement.
