Send Flowers to Tønsberg, Norway

Tønsberg, on the western shore of the Oslofjord in Vestfold, is often described as Norway's oldest town, founded in the Viking age and overlooked by the Slottsfjellet hill. Many Tønsberg natives live abroad for work or study, and relatives send flowers here for a parent's birthday, a new grandchild, an anniversary or a bereavement.

Norwegian Mother's Day is the second Sunday of February. Tønsberg also sees strong demand around the confirmation season in spring and on 17 May, when a bouquet for the host of the family celebration is a thoughtful gesture from abroad. Flowers for a funeral are normally delivered to the church before the service, and a wreath with a ribbon is the traditional form.

Place the order before midnight Norwegian time and it will be delivered the next day. The recipient's mobile number is essential: the florist calls ahead and arranges a new time if nobody is in. Roses, lilies, mixed bouquets and plants are usually available in Tønsberg, and where a flower is not stocked, the florist suggests a closely equivalent arrangement.
