Lavender Glaze Spring Pitcher
Lavender coloured spring flowers and a glazed ceramic pitcher make this arrangement feel like the first mild day of the year. The florist chooses seasonal blooms in lavender shades and arranges them by hand inside the pitcher, ready to stand on a table. May is the month of confirmations in much of Norway, and this is a pretty gift for the family hosting one. A florist in Norway prepares it and delivers it personally, on Askøy, in Horten and in other towns. Relatives abroad who cannot attend often send flowers to the home the day before the celebration.
